The Honorable David-Imad Ramadan is an experienced executive and international consultant in diverse areas such as Franchising, Government Relations, Immigration, Intellectual Property, Management and Retail with extensive knowledge of the Indian, Middle East & US markets.
David is a former member of the Virginia House of Delegates. He was elected in 2011 & 2013. Delegate Ramadan represented eastern Loudoun –the Dulles Airport area– and parts of western Prince William Counties; 2012 to 2016.
David is a graduate of George Mason University (GMU) (Virginia, USA) with a Master of Arts degree in International Trade and Transactions and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Governments and Politics. He completed graduate studies at Oxford University (Oxford, England), the American Graduate School of Business (Geneva, Switzerland), Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD) and Georgetown University (Washington, DC). He completed his High School at International College (IC) in Beirut, Lebanon.
David’s consulting, management and marketing experience is extensive. For over twenty five years, he managed companies in diverse areas such as franchising, retail, manufacturing, immigration consulting, law, management & marketing consulting, and import/export in India, the Middle East & the USA.
David is an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University, his alma-mater. He teaches: “Global Affairs – Middle East Realities” and “Virginia Government and Politics” courses. David also served on the Board of the university!
David is the founder of & active member of several social & business organizations in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. He has served on presidential political campaigns as well as on gubernatorial and senatorial campaigns. He is a frequent commentator on TV & Radio news networks.
David emigrated to the United States of America from Lebanon in 1989 and has resided in Virginia since then. He speaks and writes Arabic & English fluently.
