David Ramadan emigrated to the United States of America from Lebanon in 1989. He is a graduate of George Mason University (Virginia, USA) with a Masters of Arts degree in International Trade and Transactions and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Governments and Politics. He completed graduate studies at Oxford University (Oxford, England), the American Graduate School of Business (Geneva, Switzerland), Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD) and Georgetown University (Washington, DC). He completed his High School at International College (IC) in Beirut, Lebanon.

 

David’s experience is extensive. For over twenty years, he's been involved with companies in diverse areas such as franchising, retail, manufacturing, immigration consulting, management & marketing consulting, and import/export both in the USA, the Middle East and recently in India.

 

David serves on the Board of Visitors of George Mason University; he was appointed by Governor McDonnell on July 1, 2010. He formerly served as an Adjunct Professor at his Alma-mater where he taught a course titled: Middle East Realities: Past & Present.

 

David sits on the Board of Advisors of the Middle East Council of American Chambers of Commerce (MECACC). He is the founder of and an active member of several social organizations in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. He has served on presidential political campaigns as well as on gubernatorial and senatorial campaigns. He has lived in Virginia since 1989.

 

David is a political activist with active roles in the Republican Party of Virginia, The Loudoun County Republican Committee, and the Arab American Republican community. David is a frequent commentator on TV and Radio news networks such as Al-Jazeera, LBC, MBC, France 24, Al-Hurra, BBC, and NPR.

 

David speaks and writes Arabic & English fluently.
